I am a western born christian who married a muslim man in India doing business there for the past 15 years. I did not know of any of this manglik stuff although I do follow astrology western & vedic. I looked into our charts before we got married but it turns out that he had the wrong year of birth and only found out 2 mths ago his true birthday. We have been married since 2003 the first few where fine then the 3rd year was when all the Mars energy started surfacing the first 2 years are referred to as the honeymoon years any way for most people, it's after that things start surfacing and the real work begins. He found out he is manglik in a very bad way that he should not marry anyone it's that bad, any women he marrys will run away. I am manglik also but was told by a different astrologer he had seen our charts before marriage he would never suggest we get married, even though I am manglik also. So just because someone is also manglik doesn't mean they will work, many things in an astrology chart must be weighed. Honestly I think my husband has a personality disorder and we argued so much that he went back to India and I wanted him to, he just doesn't keep his word. Even so he does not want a divorce but I do, although there is a tremendous amount of love between us the interaction and frustration with his crazy making behavior has made me ill. I feel if I continue the relationship I could have a nervous break down. He doesn't think he is unkind and doesn't ever think he did anything wrong, unwilling to look at self or learn from mistakes. Maybe his form of manglik is a result of mental illness and that's why he should not marry anyone, not everyone is meant to marry although we would like to think there is someone for everyone. So I think there may be different levels of this manglik aspect. Some it may be just a delay in marriage which is what I was told before and is true. Others it may be far more severely aspected. Personally I would look into it with a qualified astrologer that can tell you in detail about how it might manifest, if the charts aren't compatible on other levels let it go someone better will come along you could save yourself from unnessary suffering. Also the manglik aspect does not come into play until the marriage vows come about then that persons aspect is activated and your karmas come together. So although things might be fine now while your not married, things change after marriage. I'm 59 yrs old this is my second marriage and the right marriage partner is crucial for a happy marriage, trust those that have experience in life. Your parents are only trying to protect you from an unhappy experience. Your life is nothing to mess with, it's not superstition it's a science get a quailifed astrologer with an excellent reputation not some meager astrologer but one that gives you details of your life so far without you saying anything and see if they are right. Most astrologers can not read their own charts, it's hard to be objective about your own life and I don't even suggest it. .
